CHELMSFORD- Lewis Trevor Lloyd, 85, a longtime resident of Chelmsford peacefully passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by his loving wife and family. He is survived by his wife Marjorie (Sisson) Lloyd with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 19, 1928, Lewis was the son of the late George and Ruth (Borroughs) Lloyd. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the United States Army. A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, Lewis was employed for over 35 years as a Financial Manager for GTE-Sylvania in Eastern Massachusetts. Lewis enjoyed sport cars and road trips to Maine and New Jersey seashores. Through the years his hobbies included downhill skiing, golf and a good game of Bridge. He was a social and engaging man with twinkling blue eyes to light up his smile. He was a good dancer. Around the world, he made connections with others on international vacation cruises and as a licensed American Amateur Radio (Ham) Radio operator. His most impressive hobby led to an extensive collection of antique railroad and pocket watches. He enjoyed tinkering and repairing these and other timepieces for friends and family. Marion dedicated her life to her family and she treasured them dearly. She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Russell) Saunders, Halifax, and Brenda LeBlanc, Oak Bay, N.B.; granddaughter, Jenna LeBlanc, Oak Bay, N.B., as well as a sister, June Isnor, Halifax. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Cecil in June 2009; her brother, Lloyd "Buddy"; son-in-law, Patrick LeBlanc. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Melville Lodge Nursing Home for all of the care and compassion given to Marion, especially to Joyce Topple, who was like a chosen daughter to our mother.
